OUTPUTS are proud to present Broken Bones, a beautiful slice of tape-saturated folk-jungle from vocalist and painter Lucie Jelfs. Produced by Charlie Fieber AKA electronic musician Fracture, this is the first preview track from our forthcoming compilation Sampler1.

Lucie Jelfs is an artist and musician based in London. She began her career as a fashion model, working with the internationally acclaimed photographer Wolfgang Tillmans among others. She is primarily known for her paintings, whose depictions of mysterious interiors and secret narratives draw on fragments of dreams and vanishing memories. Her pure, otherworldly vocals have drawn comparisons to Kate Bush and Liz Fraser, and she has performed with several bands as well as on tracks by electronic music producers Fracture, Kid Drama and Pleasure District (including on Fracture’s 2018 hit ‘Take You’). Her work can be seen at www.instagram.com/lucie_jelfs/.

'Sampler1' is a compilation of music by a mixture of established and emerging visual artists, all of whom have been selected for the innovative use of sound and music within their work. The album is intended as a fundraiser to allow OUTPUTS to commission new works, and will be pay-what-you-like on Bandcamp. The full album will be preceded by three singles, with the full album dropping on November 17th 2023.
